The 40th Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF2025) opened at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul on June 5. Shandong sent several major travel agencies and cultural tourism enterprises to participate, aiming to attract more tourists from South Korea.

The "Hometown of Confucius, Friendly Shandong" booth became a focal point in the "Hello China" area, drawing many locals and travel agents. A series of Shandong promotional videos were played, and bilingual brochures were distributed. Interactive activities and quizzes further engaged the audience.
On the same day, a Shandong-South Korea inbound tourism exchange event was jointly held with the China National Tourism Office in Seoul and the South Korea-China cultural tourism association. Representatives from South Korean travel agencies, OTA platforms, media, and Shandong's tourism departments attended, discussing cooperation opportunities. Agreements were signed for South Korean cycling and senior cultural tour groups to visit Shandong.

SITF2025, combining precise promotion and practical communication, not only introduced South Korean travel agents to Shandong's rich tourism offering but also provided a platform for direct cooperation. It is expected to bring tens of thousands of South Korean tourists to Shandong this summer, fueling a new wave of South Korean tourism in the province.
As one of Asia's most important international travel exhibitions, SITF2025 attracted over 350 tourism organizations and travel companies from 45 countries and regions.
