Shandong province has been expanding its global logistics network, with over 300 logistics hubs and display centers now operational worldwide. This initiative aims to support the province's growing cross-border e-commerce sector and enhance its international trade capabilities.
On June 5, the Shandong Cross-Border Logistics Supply Demand Matchmaking Conference – Americas Special Session was held in Jinan, capital of Shandong. The event built a bridge between cross-border logistics and supporting services and foreign trade enterprises, helping Shandong companies tap into the huge American market.

During the conference, discussions focused on market trends in the Americas, logistics management, exchange rate risk, and overseas operation strategies. Experts from Amazon, Leying (an e-commerce academy), and other platforms shared insights on e-commerce market trends, short-video marketing strategies, and localization operations in Latin America.
Shandong has been a pioneer in cross-border e-commerce, with significant investments in logistics infrastructure. The province has established numerous smart logistics hubs in key locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. These hubs, combined with partnerships with major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Shopee, have created a comprehensive service system covering logistics, settlement, marketing, and after-sales support.
